Silkscreen print by Ian Hamilton Finlay in collaboration with Herbert Rosenthal and published by Finlay's own Wild Hawthorn Press in blue and brown horizontal brown lines upon which lay vertical blue lines. In the lower left corner there is a key indicating that the brown lines represent the land whilst the blue lines represent the sea. Five of Finlay's prints given from the David & Liza Brown bequest in 2014 are a great addition to the Pier Arts Centre collection.
