The Contemporary Art Society is proud to announce that this season we are celebrating our 17th Artist’s Table with Thomas J Price at his private studio in London Fields, East London on Monday 11 March 2024 at 6pm. Thomas will also be creating a very special limited edition only available to attendees which will be announced prior to the event.
Celebrated international artist, Thomas J Price, represented by Hauser & Wirth, is well known for his large-scale figurative sculptures, drawing our attention to the psychological embodiment of his fictional characters and highlighting nuanced understandings of social signifiers and predetermined value.
His work has recently been added to the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, South Kensington as well as The National Portrait Gallery. CAS acquired several of his works for The Usher Gallery, Lincoln in 2020.
We ask that you kindly book your tickets (£1,000 per ticket) by Friday 16 February via the button below to ensure your place.

The Artist’s Table is a series of bespoke artist curated experiences; typically, twice a year.
These are hosted by the artist at their studio and often involve a specially created piece of performance, in conversation or similar unique opportunity to experience the artist’s work in a private setting. The artists are invited to create a one-off immersive experience including dinner.
This is a fundraising event; all proceeds directly benefit the charitable mission of the Contemporary Art Society.
The Contemporary Art Society is pleased to have hosted The Artist’s Table with Isaac Julien, Goshka Macuga, Haroon Mirza, Antony Gormley, Conrad Shawcross, John Stezaker, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Gillian Wearing & Michael Landy, Do Ho Suh, Edmund de Waal, Grayson Perry, Phyllida Barlow, Tai Shani, Glenn Brown, Jeremy Deller and Gilbert & George.
