Physical Object Description:

House maid cleaning a living room; painted in reddish colour variations. Signed by artist, bottom right. The painting on the right is Duncan Grant's Spanish Dancer (circa 1931), still at Charleston, Firle; the screen was designed by Duncan Grant for the Omega Workshops (1913) and the carpet to the left of the house maid is Duncan Grant's fish rug (c. 1924).
