Made about the same time as July Figure 2 (1978-85), Girl Without a Face (1982) has the similar attributes of outstretched arms and both are walking, the latter down a step. They are of similar scale, but the girl's head is lost beneath a hood - as the artist may have observed during a summer downpour.
