The painting North Foreland Lighthouse, Broadstairs, Kent (1929) was gifted to the the Contemporary Art Society by Sir Edward Marsh and presented to Russell Cotes Gallery, Bournemouth in 1934. It is the prototype for the lithograph for the iconic Everywhere you go - You can be sure of Shell poster series, commissioned by the advertising executive Jack Beddington (1893-1959) in 1931.
