Biography
Keith Farquhar (b. Edinburgh, Scotland, UK 1969) studied at Edinburgh College of Art (1989-93) with an exchange to Maryland Institute of Art, Baltimore (1992) and at Goldsmiths College, London (1994-96). He has participated in many group exhibitions in the UK and extensively throughout the world. His solo exhibitions have included: Barbecue 2, Office Baroque, Antwerp (with Sara MacKillop) and Barbecue, Rollaversion, London (with Sara MacKillop) (both 2021); Shelfstackers, Malmo, Edinburgh and Coders Reuse Us, NEK: Neuer Essener Kunstverein, Essen (boith 2020); The real Real Marigold Hotel, High Art, Paris (2019); HEADSPACE app, Cabinet, London; Edinburgh Leisure, Near Me, Need Help, Celine, Glasgow; Lap Gods, Office Baroque, Brussels; Ken & Cady Noland – 2013/18, Office Baroque, Brussels (all 2018); Edinburgh Leisure live performance, Supermodel, Stairwell, Paradise Palms, Edinburgh (2017); FUCKEDINBURGH, Intervention on legal graffiti wall, Edinburgh (2016); The Male Nurse album launch, Monorail, Glasgow, Bloc Bar, London; Figures in a Room, Paris Internationale (With High Art Paris); Badly Primed Canvas, Office Baroque, Brussels (both 2015). Previously Farquhar exhibited frequently at the Anthony Reynolds Gallery, London and is now represented by Cabinet Gallery, London.
