The Cranford Collection (1999)

Biography

The Cranford Collection began with the new millennium when, guided by Professor Andrew Renton, Muriel Salem began to collect work by principally British-based and European artists. Although the work was all destined to be shown in their family home in London, the Collection has always sought to acquire works of scale and importance that are emblematic of a particular moment in an artist’s oeuvre. Over the succeeding years, the Cranford Collection has become one of the most distinguished private collections in London, and regularly lends generously here in the UK and across the world. The Cranford Collection is the private collection of Freddy and Muriel Salem, Gloucester Gate, Regent's Park, London with access via 213 Albany St, NW1.
