Charlotte Epton (1902 - 1970)

Biography

Charlotte Epton (b. UK 1902- d. 1972) was a potter with the Leach Pottery (1927-30). She exhibited at the Beaux Arts Gallery in Bond Street in 1928 and with the Arts and Crafts Society, Burlington House in 1931. She taught at Cheltenham Ladies College and worked with Michael Cardew at Winchcombe Pottery. She married the artist Edward Bawden in 1932 and moved to Essex.
