The Contemporary Art Society is delighted to announce a new three-year partnership with The Sackler Trust to form The Sackler Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme. This initiative brings together all the national education programmes the Contemporary Art Society currently offers to museum curators, professionals and trainees across the country, incorporating the National Network professional development programme, a travel bursary scheme and the Annual Conference.
The Sackler Continuing Professional Development Programme provides a forum to share knowledge and to network with colleagues from the 70 Museum Members of the Contemporary Art Society. As well as events that take place across the country, the programme incorporates the Contemporary Art Society’s Annual Conference, which is now in its seventh year and attracts an audience of over 200 museum professionals. The Travel Bursary scheme will be open to curators participating in this programme, which includes international travel to art fairs and biennials.
