Rotate is the exhibition programme at our offices, showcasing the work of artists, artist-run spaces and galleries who are attracting critical interest and acclaim nationally and internationally.

Opening in November 2008 to immediate recognition for its ambitious exhibition programme, WORKS|PROJECTS is the new commercial gallery established in Bristol by the independent curator Simon Morrissey.

Morrissey has more than a decade’s previous experience of curating projects for leading galleries and has specialized in identifying and supporting distinctive new artists. The new gallery works with a small stable of emerging and established British artists to develop their work critically and commercially.

The gallery also aims to develop the profile of Bristol as a centre for the visual arts through participation in high profile art fairs and showcases and attracting national and international public and private collectors to visit and purchase in the region.

For Rotate, WORKS|PROJECTS curated a group show which drew together new work by the eight artists who work with the gallery: Edwina Ashton, Michael Dean, Sarah Dobai, Andy Holden, David Mackintosh, Roy Voss, Richard Wilson and Richard Woods, who work in diverse media, from drawing to sculpture, animation to installation.
