British Land, one of Europe’s largest property companies, has a long association with art as it plays an integral role in enhancing the built environment.  The art collection at British Land’s Head Office, York House, comprises work by a wide variety of international artists. These include Georges Braque, Ian Davenport, Jim Dine, Richard Hamilton, Gary Hume, Langlands and Bell, Fernand Leger, Henri Matisse, Bruce McLean, Julian Opie, Pablo Picasso and William Tillyer.

The artwork on display at York House is designed to enhance the company’s Head Office, and promote discussion and enjoyment for both staff and visitors. The arrangement of art brings together works closely related to British Land’s business, and illustrates architecture, landscapes and environments, including the company’s commitment to sustainability and biodiversity.

British Land is pleased to share its art collection with local communities where possible, and has loaned pieces to museums and local partners across the UK, as well as placing works of art in public and private spaces throughout its property portfolio. The company has also hosted art tours for schoolchildren and other local groups at its Head Office and properties.

British Land looks forward to welcoming you to York House for this exclusive visit.
