Join us for a visit to Artes Mundi 7, which brings together six international artists who directly engage with everyday life through their practice and who explore contemporary social issues across the globe. This year’s nominees are John Akomfrah, Amy Franceschini/Future Farmers, Lamia Joreige, Neil Beloufa, Nastio Mosquito and Bedwyr Williams. Each artist brings their own unique perspective to explore what it means to be human in contemporary society. The show is curated by Karen MacKinnon, who has been working as an international curator based in Wales for the past sixteen years including roles at Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea, and Chapter, Cardiff.  More details on the day to follow. The CAS team will travel on the 9.15 train from Paddington.
