The Tetley, Hunslet Road, Leeds, LS10 1JQ and 25 Wharf Street, Leeds, LS2 7EQ.

The afternoon starts with a curator-led tour of the Jerwood Drawing Prize at The Tetley before visiting several artists’ studios in Wharf Street.

The Jerwood Drawing Prize is widely recognised for its commitment to championing excellence and celebrating the breadth of contemporary drawing practice in the UK. This will be the only Northern venue on the national tour.

The tour will then take in Leeds Weirdo Club founded in 2012 which engenders collaboration between the individual practices of Matthew Crawley, Harry Meadley and David Steans who already have earned national profiles. In the same building is Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, the title for the recently established gallery and studios, where in addition to studio visits, we will have privileged access to exhibition of work by all 18 studio holders.

For more information and to reserve a place on this tour, please contact Moira Innes, Collector Development Manager, Yorkshire at moira@contemporaryartsociety.org or call 07946 604 109.
