The Contemporary Art Society tour (CASt) is London’s first and most popular gallery bus tour, taking place throughout the year and offering an inspirational insight into the city’s most exciting exhibitions. Designed to offer high level access to artists, curators and gallery directors, the breadth of these tours makes them unmissable for collectors, enthusiasts and patrons of the arts.
On Saturday 16 May CAStours will travel across South London to visit exhibition spaces, galleries and foundations. What should you expect from this spring outing? We will visit Flat Time House, the former studio of John Latham, to learn about his practice and British art of the 1960s within the context of the exhibition Pataphysics and Transaction Between Barry Flangan and John Latham. The day will finish by discovering an interpretation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s novel The Master and Margarita by artists Sanya Kantarovsky and Ieva Misevičiūtė at Studio Voltaire. We hope to see you on 16 May to consider Surrealism, British art of the 1960s, Russian novels and contemporary performance.
