One of the world’s leading contemporary art fairs, Frieze London takes place each October in Regent’s Park and is one of the most important annual events in the international art calendar. Presenting the most important galleries from around the world, the fair showcases both emerging and established artists.

The Contemporary Art Society are running a number events open to our Members which will highlight some of the key projects at the fair, recommending outstanding gallery stands and providing an insider’s take on this year’s Frieze, with a focus on younger galleries.

  • Join our curatorial team on Thursday 16 October or Friday 17 October for a Curatorial Walk Through and our Frieze Reception.

 Thursday 16 October / Curatorial Walk Through: Frieze Art Fair, 15.00 – 16.30. Regents Park, London

Tour of Frieze Art Fair led by Robert Dingle, Christine Takengny & Kay Watson. Tours will cover a selection of UK and international galleries including Frieze Projects, Frieze Live, Frieze Focus and acquisitions made by the Outset/Frieze Art Fair Fund for Tate.

Friday 17 October / The Annual Frieze Reception, 17.45 – 18.30. Address on receipt of booking

Members are invited to join a private reception generously hosted by collector and Contemporary Art Society supporter Theo Danjuma at his home in Fitzroy Square which will provide the opportunity to hear him speak about his collection and its development. Established in 2008 by the young London collector Theo Danjuma, the Danjuma Collection includes over 400 works of art by emerging and established artists from around the world.

  • Join Contemporary Art Society North over a two day bespoke contemporary art programme around London which will include a visit to Frieze London, taking place Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 October.
