Paul Hobson, Director of the Contemporary Art Society, chairs a panel discussion about the state of British art collecting with representatives from both public and private collection. There will also be plenty advice on to how to start your own art collection.

This talk coincides with an exhibition (To Hope, To Tremble, To Live) at the Hepworth drawn from the David Roberts Collection. Acquired from the mid-90s onwards, the collection, comprising 1800 works by 750 British and international artists, is one of the UK’s most significant private collections of modern and contemporary art.
