We are really looking forward to the Contemporary Art Society’s Summer Party this year and we very much hope you can join us!
Join us at Bold Tendencies from 15.00 for our annual Summer Party were we will see works by Nina Beier, Nicholas Brooks, Steven Claydon, Benedict Drew, Cécile B. Evans, Grand George, Piotr Lakomy, Jimmy Merris, Ruth Proctor and Total Vitality; an Artist Dining Space by Michael Levitt and Derek Jarman’s Garden For Peckham by K. Collins and Propagating Dan. We are indebted to Bold Tendencies for hosting us on the first open Saturday of its three month run. Expect the atmosphere to be brilliant!
We also look forward to offering drinks and summer sharing plates provided by the wildly popular Frank’s Cafe and an exclusive tour of the project by Joe Balfour, Bold Tendencies Head of Programmes. Bold Tendencies, founded in 2007 is held on the top four floors of a disused multistorey car park in Peckham with spectacular views across the city.
There will also be the opportunity to listen to an orchestra performance, Wishes, Lies and Dreams, composed specifically for the project by 23-year-old composer Kate Whitley. This will start at 17.00 as part of Bold Tendencies public programme.
Summery food and drinks will be on offer and we warmly welcome all Members, Artists, Patrons and Supporters to join us, providing a unique opportunity for you all to meet each other. All in all, a perfect way to start the summer break!
