Join us for studio visits with Nina Chua and Nicola Ellis.
Nina Chua uses a ruler and pen to inscribe lines of colour onto the surface of paper. Within the development of her works gesture is intentionally limited to its most fundamental form, leaving line, colour and support to assume a pivotal role.
Nicola Ellis’ practice is underpinned by an interest in the sychronisation of the natural with the unnatural. Initial drawings and prints are frequently used to generate ideas for sculptures which explore the qualities of various materials including polyurethance foam, silicone sealant, stone and glass.
Please note this is a change of date – previously advertised as the 26 March.
