Join us for a tour of the International Print Biennale 2014

The third International Print Biennale takes place across the North East of England from 27 June to 8 August 2014. Celebrating the role of print in contemporary artists’ practice, the 2014 International Print Awards are the centrepiece of the International Print Biennale and this exhibition will be the core of the visit. With 37 artists exhibiting in this years open submission prize, the works are split across the Hatton Gallery and Northern Print. The 2014 selection panel were Stephen Coppel (British Museum), David Nash (RA) and Susan Tallman (Editor-in-Chief, Art in Print). As well as short-listing the selected artists, each selector was further invited to nominate one artist to exhibit their work as part of the Biennale. These invited artists are: Jane Kent, Keith Coventry and Bedwyr Williams.

The tour will also include a visit to Workplace Gallery, who as part of the Biennale are exhibiting a new body print-based work by Cecilia Stenbom.
