We are delighted to invite all Members to this new, exciting seminar. Relevant to both those with a new, as well an established, interest in collecting contemporary art (on any budget), this seminar is relevant to anyone curious about the creation of both critical and financial value in the contemporary art market. After giving a brief overview of the marketplace this talk will outline key guidelines for making a prudent purchase.

It also provides a great opportunity for you to learn about the Contemporary Art Society. Founded in 1910, the Contemporary Art Society exists to encourage an appreciation and understanding of contemporary art by a wide audience and to donate works by important and new artists to museums and public galleries across the UK.

Please note this is an introductory event which is repeated monthly.
