Join us for a studio visit of the Hole Editions print studio with Master Printer, Lee Turner and artist, Lothar Götz

Hole Editions is a collaborative printmaking workshop, specializing in hand lithography. Established in 2005, it is the imprint of Tamarind Master Printer, Lee Turner. Working closely with artists to realise their ideas, Hole Editions has worked with a wide range of artists and arts organisations, producing limited edition prints for artists including, Alex Charrington, Laura Lancaster, Anne Vibeke Mou, Yoko One and George Shaw.

Marking the launch of a new series of five photo lithographs by Lothar Götz and Hole Editions, artist and printmaker will discuss the processes of production behind the work.

Götz completed an MA at the Royal College of Art after studying in Germany at Aachen, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. He currently lives and works in London and is Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland. Götz’ practice ranges in scale from site-specific wall paintings and room-sized spatial installations to paintings and drawings. In 2009, he completed a commission at Haymarket Metro Station, Newcastle.  Recent projects include exhibitions at Chapter, Cardiff, Fundacio Joan Miro, Barcelona and Domobaal, London.
