The Contemporary Art Society tour (CASt) is London’s original and most popular gallery bus tour, taking place throughout the year and offering an inspirational navigation of the city’s most exciting galleries. Designed to be convenient and affordable, the breadth of these tours is unrivalled making them perfect for every graduation of contemporary art collector and enthusiast. CASt is not to be missed.
For this edition of CASt we are delighted to be heading to West London. Co-hosting will be Henry Little, Membership and Public Programmes Manager along with Christine Takengny, Manager of Public Collection Development.
We have curated a special theme for this tour, exploring the extent to which local and cultural identity is investigated, addressed or adopted in the work of the artists on display. We will traverse the whole spectrum, from Gabriel Kuri’s international contemporary art style, through to Ximena Garrido-Lecca’s sculptural recreations of vernacular architecture in Peru, and Goncalo Mabunda’s masks which overtly combine recent and past periods of history in Mozambique.
