CAS Talks supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation is a year-long programme of talks by contemporary artists that take place in the Contemporary Art Society’s Member Museums across the UK. The talks happen as a work by the artist enters the museum collection and are designed to introduce artists to new audiences.

Heather Phillipson will be in conversation with Richard Parry, Curator at Grundy Art Gallery on 11 March 2015 at 6pm. The museum has acquired two works by the artist in 2015 through the Contemporary Art Society’s Fine Art Acquisition Scheme.

The talk also coincides with the exhibition THINGS: A Century of Works Purchased with the Contemporary Art Society that will run from 6 March – 11 April 2015 at the gallery.

To book a place on the talk, please contact the museum directly on (0)1253 478 170 or by email on grundyartgallery@blackpool.gov.uk.
