Colin has considerable depth and breadth of experience in the development of nuanced, collaborative cultural placemaking built around creative partnership and extensive experience in initiating and delivering complex, high-profile public art commissions.

With 25 years professional experience, he has developed and delivered cultural placemaking and public art strategies, delivery frameworks, creative partnerships, programmes and major art commissions throughout the UK across a broad range of sectors including major transport infrastructure, Urban Regeneration, Mixed-Use development, Healthcare and Education.

He is particularly adept in identifying the key components of place and community to inform transformative creative programming. Recent projects include; Royal Docks Cultural Strategy; The Crossrail Art Programme Cultural Strategy and subsequent delivery of 10 major art commissions for Elizabeth line stations at Paddington, Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Whitechapel & Canary Wharf; the City of London Arts Initiative; Melbourne Metro Tunnel Cultural Strategy; development of the Heathrow Terminal 2 Central Court Commission and Cambridge Biomedical Campus Cultural Placemaking Strategy.
