Partnership with Film and Video Umbrella

Partnership with Film and Video Umbrella was a collaboration between the Contemporary Art Society and Film and Video Umbrella (FVU) and supported by the Mbili Foundation to commission, exhibit and acquire new moving image works by artists. They were in an 'equal shares' partnership with three Museum Members in the northwest of England, supported by Arts Council England: Everything I have is Yours, 2019 by Open Music Archive for University of Salford Art Collection; Concrete Feathers and Porcelain Tacks, 2021 by Helen Cannock for Touchstones Rochdale and The Song, 2022 by Bani Abidi for Gallery Oldham. Once completed, the individual works will enter the permanent collection of each of the three museums.
