Biography
Frith Street Gallery was founded in 1989 in a Georgian townhouse in Soho, London. In 2007 it moved to a large, purpose-built space on Golden Square. Frith Street Gallery’s artists work across many varied mediums; from painting and sculpture, to film & video, to performance. The gallery is recognised for fostering new and innovative relationships with collections and institutions, enabling it to place artists’ work in some of the most significant public and private museums worldwide.
In 2023 Frith Street Gallery started working with two new artists: the Estate of Nancy Spero and Shilpa Gupta. Its other represented artistssre: Polly Apfelbaum, Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press, Anna Barriball, Massimo Bartolini, James Castle, Dorothy Cross, Tacita Dean, Marlene Dumas, Callum Innes, Jaki Irvine, Cornelia Parker, Raqs Media Collective, John Riddy, Thomas Schütte, Daniel Silver, Dayanita Singh, Bridget Smith, Fiona Tan, Juan Uslé and Daphne Wright.
