In 1971 the Crafts Advisory Committee (CAC) was formed to advise the government ‘on the needs of the artist craftsman and to promote a nation-wide interest and improvement in their products’.
Hothouse is the Crafts Council’s creative business development programme for up-and-coming makers. Lizzie is one of 26 maker businesses selected for 2020’s Hothouse, and will take part in a series of workshops designed to help cultivate creativity as well as business know-how.
