The Colour Woodcut Society was founded by Frank Morley Fletcher (1866-1949) in 1920. Producing colour woodcuts in the Japanese manner, most of its exhibitions were held at the Macrae Gallery, which was located at 95, Regent Street, London and later on the Fulham Road, London, SW11
