Biography
Prue O'Day (1946-) established Anderson O'Day in 1971 with partner Don Anderson after gaining considerable experience working for contemporary print publishers and old master print dealers. They also became print publishers which Don Anderson continued whilst Prue O’Day opened a gallery in Portobello Road, Notting Hill, London in 1986 showing paintings and sculpture. She also co-founded the Portobello Contemporary Art Festival. Anderson O'Day Fine Art acquired an international reputation, recognised for discovering emerging talent. Prue O'Day is collaborating with Freeny Yianni on the estate and legacy of Jane Harris (1956-2022), who was represented by Anderson O'Day at the beginning of her career.
