Physical Object Description:

Three-quarter length portrait of a lady painted in dark colours. She has bright blue eyes that are focused on the viewer, her brown hair is neatly organised in a bun, she wears a brown jacket and white shirt. Signed: Ethel Walker, bottom left. The original title 'Portrait of an Elizabethan Youth' may be a reference to Virginia Woolf's Orlando.
