Physical Object Description:

Old Woman was made by George Fullard in 1957, cast from the clay model in cement fondue. The overriding characteristic of Old Woman is its emphasis on the head and the hands; the body is simplified into a flattened pillar which is scratched with a knife to indicate the shawl which is so often associated with elderly ladies.
