Inscription content: Title sheet gives the prints the following titles: 1. Monte del Forno -- 2. Monte della Disgrazia -- 3. Monte Lunghino -- 4. The Boulder -- 5. Gravasalvas by Sils. No. 1 etched signature and date 1920 No. 2 etched with "Mte della Disgrazia" and artist's signature No. 3 signature and date 1920 No. 4 signature and date 1920 No. 5 etched with "Gravasalvas bei Sils" and artist's signature.Note in pencil on the title mount: "NB. Owing to 'Maloja' having been spellt with a 'Y', this published title is a second state. Five Impressions were taken of the first state."
Accompanying leaflet explains editioning, pricing and availabilty:
"The edition is limited to forty impressions on hand-made paper, each proof numbered and signed by the artist -- the plates, and stone of title-sheet, being subsequently destroyed."
"The Portfolio, price twenty-five guineas, may be obtained on application to the artist at 61 High Street, Hampstead, N.W.3; through Messrs. Ernest Brown & Phillips, The Leicester Galleries, Leicester Square, W.C.1; or from Messrs. T. & R. Annan & Sons, 518 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow at which addresses it may be seen at the same time."
