Thickly painted, impressionist style close-up still life of a bunch of large, heavy artichoke flowers in a grey pottery vase. The flowers themselves are bright blue with light brown casing. They sit on a plane, brown table in front of a dark off-yellow coloured wall. Signed botomt right: Maclauchan Milne.
