Physical Object Description:

Giant-sized anglepoise light with powder-coated aluminium frame and cotton shade. Circular powder-coated aluminium base covers internal steel base structure stabilised by 6 lead weights, attached by allen bolts. Vertical rim to vase cover, slanting upwards towards centre. Electrical flex runs through base to dimmer switch and plug. Main armature slots into recess in centre of vase cover, consisting of 1 vertical and 1 horizontal tubular aluminium length hinged at base, centre and light fitting. A narrower tube runs parallel to main arms, attached with 2 springs to create tension. Pleated cream cotton lampshade with internal frosted glass diffuser attached, and perspex dust-cover which sits on top of shade. Light can swivel 360 degrees on armature, and angle can be adjusted at hinged points. See manufacturer's instructions in file for installation and recommended display positions.
