Biography
Moira Jeffrey is a journalist and writer based in Glasgow. She regularly comments on the visual arts for both print and broadcast media and is currently art critic of Scotland on Sunday newspaper. In the last decade she has published more than 1000 reviews, articles and catalogue essays for publications including a-n, Contemporary, MAP, Modern Painters and Tate etc. Jeffrey has regularly contributed to radio programmes including Front Row (BBC Radio 4), Night Waves (BBC Radio 3) and The Green Room (BBC Radio 2). In 2004 she wrote and presented the BBC Scotland documentary Hanging in Parliament on the controversial visual art programme conceived for the Scottish Parliament Building.
