Geoffrey Tucker CBE (1925 - 2003)

Biography

Geoffrey Tucker, CBE (1925-2003) was a PR consultant and adversting agent, as well as a political fixer, having been director of publicity at Conservative Central Office under Edward Heath, helping him to win the general election of 1968. After graduation in 1949 he had worked for several advertising agencies, including Colman, Prentice, and Varley (CPV) and Young & Rubicam, where he became director and then managing director, in the UK and Italy. He was a staunch Anglican who co-founded the Table Fellowship in 1966. He was also a Contemporary Art Society Committee Member (1976-84)
