Biography
James Lingwood has been Co-Director of Artangel with Michael Morris since 1991, ‘producing extraordinary art in unexpected places in London, across the UK and around the world’. He was the Contemporary Art Society's Special Collections Scheme fine art adviser for Manchester City Art Gallery in 1998/99. He has also curated a number of exhibitions for arts institutions internationally. He has been a Trustee of Art Fund and is an adviser to the Oslo Biennale in 2016, 176 / Zabludowicz Collection programme, the London Design Festival and Fondazione Ratti in Como.
