Thomas Godfrey Blackwell (1884-1943), director of the British food brand Crosse & Blackwell, also occasionally wrote for The Studio and became Contemporary Art Society Executive Committee Member (1914-28). He was an art collector who was a friend of the artist and critic and Art Fund and CAS founding member, D. S. MacColl (1859-1948).
