Biography
Alain Miller (b. London 1963) studied at Maidstone College of Art (1979-80), Brighton Polytechnic (1981-4), Chelsea School of Art (1984-5), and Goldsmiths’ College School of Art (1985-7). He participated in group exhbitions at Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge and Anthony Reynolds Gallery, London (both 1985), the latter of whom also held solo shows for Miller from 1987. He also showed in the 1990 Whitechapel Open; John Moores Exhibition, Liverpool (in 1987, 1991-2 and 1997-8); and in About Vision, Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, and tour (1996-7).
