Herbert Lespinasse (1884-1972) was a wealthy artist and poet, who settled in the small French port of Saint-Tropez and his home became a gathering place for Parisian bohemians, including Picasso in 1915, who was enanmoured with Herbert's future wife, Gabrielle 'Gaby' Depeyre.
