Biography
Albert Julius Martin Larsen (b. Copenhagen, Denmark 1885 - d. Ystaf, Sweden 1957) studied art with Viggo Johansen (1851 - 1935) at the Danish Konstakademien in Copenhagen and took numerous study trips to Germany, Austria, and Italy. He settled first in Norway where he painted for four years. In the 1920s he moved to Ystad, in Sweden, where he remained the rest of his life. Larsen had solo exhibitions in Ystad and took part in the Swedish / Danish exhibition in Copenhagen in 1942.
