Alexandre Fasini (b. Kiev, Ukraine 1892 - d. Oświęcim, Poland 1942), born Saul Finesilber spent his childhood in Odessa and attended the Fine Arts Academy there, where he was taught by Kiriak Kostandi (1852-1921), a Greek Impressionist painter. Fasini developed his own painting style that blended abstraction and Surrealism.
