Biography
Rowland Wright Alston (b. Lincolnshire, UK 1895 - d. 1958) studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal College of Arts in London as well as in Paris. He exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts and the New English Art Club. Between 1931 and 1958 he was curator of the Watts Gallery, Compton, Surrey.
