

Georges Aubert (b. La Chaux-de-Fonds, France 1886 - d. Geneva, Switzerland 1961) was a Swiss painter and sculptor who studied first in his home town, then at the Geneva School of Fine Arts and the School of Industrial Arts in Paris. In 1909 he founded, with Le Corbusier the Ateliers d’Art Unis. Aubert participated in the decoration of the Hirsch pavilion of the Cantonal Observatory of Neuchâtel. He founded an art school in Lausanne with the artist Jacques Berger (1902-1977) and the architect Alberto Sartoris (1901-1998).
