Biography
Keith Brocklehurst (b. UK 1946) trained in fine art at the Chelsea School of Art and Slade School of Fine Art but bacame a glass artist. He consciously rejected blown glass and concentrates exclusively on kiln-fired glass and cast glass; by 1983 his work was exhibited nationally. The Contemporary Art Society purchased Mesa Ascent (1991) from Contemporary Applied Arts and donated it to Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery in 1992.
