Biography
Joy Girvin (b. UK 1961) studied at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic (University of Northumberland) 1981-4 and Royal Academy Schools 1984-7 and won the Italian Government Scholarship to Rome, 1989-90. She was the visiting tutor at Hertfordshire College of Art and Design 1990-2, from 1983 has exhibited in several mixed exhibitions including RA Summer Exhibition and Camden Annual Exhibition, solo shows include Blason Gallery, 1991 and Cadogan Contemporary, 1993.
