Biography
Geoffrey Beasley (b. Leicester, UK 1945 - d. 2018) studied at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design; the Royal Academy Schools and Nottingham Trent University. He was artist-in- residence at Leicester City Football Club and Guru Nanak Sikh Temple, Leicester. His work has been seen in solo exhibitions in Leicester and in numerous group exhibitions including those of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (1985–1990). A portrait of his son, Eddy was exhibited at the BP Portrait Award, National Portrait Gallery, London (2014).
