Margaret Hunter (1948)

Biography

Margaret Hunter (b. Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland, UK 1948) studied at the Glasgow School of Art (1981-85) and then at the Universität der Künste, Berlin (1985-6) with the renowned German artist Professor Georg Baselitz. Her artwork has featured internationally in exhibitions, most regularly in Berlin and London. She exhibited at Vanessa Devereux Gallery and at Art First (1997). The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh, Paisley Museum and Art Galleries and The Mercer Art Gallery, Harrogate hold her work.
