*Consultancy worked with InSite Arts to produce the public art strategy for Cambridge University’s North West Cambridge development. The strategy prefaces integrated approaches to working with artists and a sustainable programme of commissioning, both permanent and temporary, through a 15 year long development programme.
An internationally networked Artist Residency Programme is the heart of the strategy, ensuring that a unique understanding of place is central to the programme. A series of permanent and temporary commissions are taking place throughout the development, which continues to be strengthened and supported by the residency scheme. The University worked with *Consultancy to appoint a high-profile advisory panel of arts, culture and academic professionals to guide the artistic programme.
