David Connearn (1952)

Biography

David Connearn (b. UK 1952) studied history at Cambridge before going to Camberwell School of Art to do a degree in sculpture (1979) and attended the Slade School of Fine Art as a postgraduate (1981). He was appointed the John Florent Stone Fellow at the Edinburgh College of Art in 2000. His first solo show was held at Coracle Press, London, in 1985. In 2001 he participated in two group shows at the Rooseum Centre for Contemporary Art in Malmö, Sweden and the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius, Lithuania.
